Originally from Mechanicsville VA, singer/songwriter Dean Fields teaches acoustic, electric, and classical guitar as well as songwriting and harmonica. He also directs and organizes the Rock Star Camp at Key Signatures, which continues to be a huge success since Dean founded the program in summer, 2008.
Dean graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2001 with a degree in Classical Music Composition and Classical Guitar. He went on to study Graduate Music Business at the University of Miami. Since hitting the road in 2003, Dean has toured all over the United States sharing the stage with notable bands and artists including Bruce Hornsby, Hootie and the Blowfish, KT Tunstall, Cake, Josh Kelley, John Hiatt, among others.
An accomplished songwriter, Dean recently signed an international publishing deal with the NYC/UK company Dramatico, writing songs for pop and country artists. His songs have been featured in films and television including MTV's The Real World and Road Rules. He is currently working on his fourth album.
