Faith - Violin

Faith began studying piano at age five and violin at age eleven, at which time she realized that violin would be her primary instrument. Faith actively pursued opportunities to play violin while growing up in Richmond, Va, including local chamber ensembles, the Youth Orchestra of Charlottesville/Albemarle, and the Saints’ Chamber Orchestra at Saint Catherine’s School.

Faith is currently pursuing a double major at Virginia Commonwealth University, studying both Violin Performance and History. She is a member of the Virginia Commonwealth University Orchestra, where she has served in several leadership positions. She also participates in VCU’s chamber ensembles. Faith has been teaching violin since 2003, combining her background in Suzuki method with several other teaching techniques, creating unique methods individualized to her students. Faith enjoys teaching all levels of violin to children and adults.
